About einstin2
I am a student at UNLV. I am a Psy major and am leaning toward a philosophy minor. I have been involved with politics most of my life and often practice predicting things in my spare time. I am an active member of the UNLV CRs. My party affiliation does not affect my predictions though and I am often looked at as being a little pessamistic. I won't take huge chances so it is unlikely that I will ever make an all out there prediction.

Not likely that that would have an effect. I don't remember who said it, but he/she was right when they said "It's the economy stupid."

There have been no reports of bin Ladens capture as of yet. Unless the gov't is keeping it very quiet, which considering the fuss about Saddam H. is highly unlikley, then Osama is still at large.

It is an unfortunate problem with our country today that so many censor other peoples speech. While I don't like it I do understand the reasons and necessity behind it. However while I do think You tube will be caught censoring videos, I do think it will take awhile to see the proof of it.

Hyper Inflation is probobly the most likley and least fun of all the catastrophies. (I know, I am sick for thinking pandemic disease is fun, relatively speaking of course)

Free-market economics (what people erroniously call Regannomics) has not been in use since... err... umm... about 1928 when Hoover screwed up the economy and FDR made it almost permanent. (Some of his tax hikes were repealed but the vast majority of his policies are still on the books along with johnson's 'great society' attempts and Carter's policies.) Regan couldn't even remove half of these policies before he left office and yet the economy rebounded from 1970's stagflation. So in other words we are still living under Roosavelt's economic theories. So allow me to ask you how THAT is working out?

I think we are getting close to the bottom of the DOW. To go much lower would require buisnesses to fail and the economy to tank fast. No the DOW will stay above 6k for now.

Commented on:   When will Chrysler "Crash"?
Chrystler will live on, though probably only because it will be nationalized before the gov't allows it to fail. the UAW is too important to the dems for any of the big three to be let go.

A quick google, msn and yahoo serch tells you two things.

    1. Canada really want's to ban transfats, or at least those who take up web space

    2. Canada has not as of yet banned trans-fats.

His capture has not been televised as of yet. As his capture would have been a top news story and it is now febuary, it is safe to assume he is still at large.

They are not leving soon and if I were there I would tell Israel to pull out only once there is no resistance left. Even then they should make demands first... like I don't know, Hama's head on a platter.

Right.... countries always play fair and even bother to make the boundaries they won't bother to stick to. I really doubt Russia would even think about making an attempt at making bouandaries. It is a frontier; every country will simply have to fight it, and when every country has expended all their available resources trying to claim this territory then we will see boundaries. Expect another three to five years before we even see the horizon on this.

not unless we have an asteroid impact, and the odds of that would be described as >0. The world will be here but we may not like it.

It is hard to predict this far into the future. I am sure though that if there is a WW3 then it will not be over oil.

I am leaning toward yes but it wouldn't be the first lie told by a candidate for office if he did not shut it down.
