    I won't be so sure about neglecting this one ..
    Google was at first only search engine, new he is dealing with Mobile Market. Apple primary product was Mac - look where is he now.
    My value is yes.

    Google bets on Internet while Microsoft bets on desktop with connection to Internet. I think this clears all.

    I would say YES and before Aprtil.
    If GReader has offline support why GMail (which apparently has more users) won't have it?

    Probably not.

    FF has great and big community support (extensions, translations, etc.) but on other side IE has large support from gov. big monopolists.

    Sure it will be. Just look what Google does on the market. He is making small applications (calendar, pictures, reader, mail), which together makes one big application.
    Sites is just a piece of this bigger application. Connecting notes from notebook, adding pictures from Picasa album,...
    it's Google baby.

    I wouldn't be so sure in Apple. At last, he is "product" company, and I think that iTunes is only his side product. But, in other way, people who like Apple, or have iPod, iPhone, use iTunes a lot...

    Sire for sure won't be closed down. If it will be, it will be just for few days, so the ops of tracker can move servers to other location.
