I call McDonald's one of three evil empires (Microsoft and Walmart the other two) and being an evil empire usually means you get your own way. We all know that McDonald's is a HUGE sponsor at the Olympics. That being said, if McDonald's executives cough, Toronto and the IOC will totally cave.

No green (ie good) technology will be available until all the petrolium does run out. Of course, I feel that once this crisis is over, we'll just go back to our old ways. When the problem is out of sight, it will be out of mind!
