Possibly the best way to fight the inflation plus recession is to do nothing to the rate. I bet it will continue to stay at 2% for a while.

It is very hard to keep up with all these accessories. If they have 10 titles supporting 1:1, then I might consider getting one, actually two. Dang, Nintendo sure knows how to make money.

If Google Android becomes successful, it can become the next platform for mobile payment. Google has already submitted a few patents related to that.

But whether Android will be successful still remain questionable. I think Paypal was the pioneer, and will remain strong in the field.

Whether we are in recession is still debatable. This article from MSNBC kind of describe this:
    http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25938404/

So for some, the question still remains, "Are we even in recession?"

Yes, $60 for only 150min is a big rip off. Hopefully, the new 3G iPhone can be unlocked, then Canadians can come and buy the iPhone from the US.

Sweet. I can track where my wife is at any moment now. And I can use a counter-tracking device to fake a moving signal, so my wife will think I really go on a business trip.

Wow, I just think of a whole new market. I am going to be rich.

The 3G iPhone is going to be available to both Rogers and Fido (same company):

Let's hope they have a cheap consumer data plan at Fido.

Oh, and global warming too. You know how natural disasters can lead to chaos, and unstable society. And that's opportunities for revolution/invasion etc. etc.

We have enjoyed peace since the end of WWII in, 1945. We are taking peace for granted. There are several possible trigger of WWIII that we have to aware of
    - increase global population
    - increasingly uneven distribution of wealth
    - food supply doesn't catch up with population growth
    - fossil fuel supply not catching up, and lack of economical substitute.

These can all lead to wars.

Traditionally, it was USA right? I think this year, it will remain the same, but China will be No.2. You know how the hosting country usually try harder to win medals.

Indie and Batman both stand a good chance. And Will Smith is going to surprise us in Hancock.

I will say no to Wall-E, Prince Caspian, and Sex and the City. No way.

That's a very interesting analysis. If Obama gets Clinton as VP, and McCain gets Rice, then this election will be more like a PR war than ever. Since the political positions of both parties on various issues are so similar, this is going to be a race of "who makes the fewer mistakes wins."

Wow, I can see this as a perfect way to build Japanese anime models and action figures. People can buy or download some CAD file online, and then "print" out a cool Batman or Naruto model. That is something!

But if the cardridges are too expensive, then that's out of the question.
