Bungie showed this cool (but not too funny) video hinting the next Halo game.
    http://www.gamepro.com/news.cfm?artic...

But still there is no concreate info on what the game really is about. However, by looking at the video and its rendering, it looks like it is designed for a first/third person shooter.

Microsoft doesn't need another search engine. It's Live search engine might not be the best, but I don't see how Cuil technology is any better. AOL might find it more useful.

There are still a lot of articles online "explaining" the benefit of pornography:
    http://ask.metafilter.com/94450/What-...

My conclusion is "out of sight, out of mind". If you don't watch it, you don't realize you need it. Go out and have some sports or healthy sex, then you don't need porn. But of course some might argue that healthy sex is hard to come by. I concur.

There are so many days to go. It is hard to say no. All it takes is one guy bringing out a banner and start "protesting". As long as he can make himself on the news, then mission accomplished..

I can see China getting a lot of medals this year. But look at China's past records, especially in track and field, then you should realize it is not that easy.

I found a few older articles on the web about how pornography can benefit us. It is very interesting, though I cannot say I agree:
    "Pornography has its benefits"

"Pornography benefits women, both personally and politically"

I am surprised to hear KFC is getting rid of trans fat as well. Canada should do the same as well.

Digg still has an ad deal with Microsoft. And I am sure they want to count Microsoft in the bidding game. So, it is still possible that Digg get acquired by Microsoft instead.

As long as Facebook can keep its users loyalty, they can still afford not using open standard like OpenID. Right now, the benefit for Facebook to support OpenID is minimal. The benefit is more on the users' side.

So far, XBox gamers are still willing to pay for online multiplayer games. But things might change after the Sony PS3 Home service is finally go live. Initially, there will be a price reduction. But Microsoft won't make the service completely free in 2008.

My Office 2003 is working fine. I might "upgrade" to OpenOffice next instead.

Linden had shown great leadership in Canucks for years. Too bad he couldn't bring home a Stanley Cup.
