Previously, the Yahoo Buzz news aggregation stie (similar to Digg.com), only supports stories and links from 500 authorized publishers. And all stories were handpicked by Yahoo staff. Users were only able to rank up a story by pressing the "buzz up!" button. Now, users can do a lot more by submitting their own stories or links.
