    Nowadays, the most successful virtual worlds are those with a well defined theme and story. Some examples are World of Warcraft series, and Grand Theft Auto series.

    It is going take years before the open-end virtual world like Second Life and PS3 Home can kick off. I don't see Microsoft interested in investing in an open-end virtual world at this point.
