    Ever since April 2008, there was no words about Blu-ray in Xbox360. It might never happen.

    I suppose XBox Live isn't going to solve the disk size problem. Online connectivity won't have the bandwidth to deliver content that takes up a whole blu-ray disk. This is a perfect example of XBox DVD disks running out of space for newer games:

    I think Microsoft will have to support Blu-ray pretty soon, unless they come up with a new disk standard. I doubt that will happen because the whole industry had been pretty sick and tired of the previous HD-DVD vs. Blu-ray format war. I think people don't want to go thru that now.

    Microsoft must be in a very difficult position now. I think they would rather want consumers' focus to be in the XBox Live online capability.

    If Xbox360 is to put more content into its games, it will have to use a larger format. If it continue to use DVD, then users will have to download a lot of content online.
