Challenge Your Friends
What is ZiiTrend?
Will your house be mainly powered by Wind Power in 2010?
ocRabbit ( Score Rank: User did not make predictions in the last 30 days ) ocRabbit  |  closed on 01-Apr-2008 (599 days ago)
In an ambitious scheme than even industry proponents seem skeptical of, Britain has unveiled plans to power every home in the country via off-shore wind farms by the year 2020. For your town (no matter where you are), will you think you will enjoy cheap wind power by 2010?

I would love to... but wind power is actually not readily available in a lot of places...

Besides, British Columbia actually has one of the cleanest way of producing electricity with hydro-electricity. It's the rest of Canada and many other countries that need to go greener with their electricity generation. :p

My current energy provider uses 100% renewable energy...
I'd rather have a bunch of solar panels on my roof though, but that's still too expensive!

Solar panel conversion ratio is too low huh? I have seen them in local hardware stores. But too lazy to buy them and set them up.

i am pro wind-power. it's relatively low tech and clean, but it still may not support every single house in my country.
