The "March Madness" is one of the biggest sporting events in the US. 64 division 1 basketball teams will be selected to play in a tournament where heroes are crowned, and memories are created. The March Madness is so popular, that many workers will "get sick" during the opening rounds just to watch the endless coverage on TV.

So, are you going to be a follower of the action that starts on March 20?

i have been following NBA for many years. NCAA is out of my choice because I don't know any players. Black-Shoulder, do you mean ZiiTrend.com should open a new section for NCAA?

To be honest with you, I don't know too many of the players myself... I listen to sports radio from the States (specifically, the Jim Rome show), and they talk about College B-ball quite a bit. I know many of the coaches and some of the players... For the most part, I only watch the games for the basketball, not caring too much about who is playing who...

If you are strictly talking about the quality of the game, then yes, I'd agree that NBA is a higher-caliber game. However, like many sports at the amateur level, the student-athletes making mistakes in itself makes the games that much more interesting, because it is not always all that predictable.

Look at my NBA predictions - the fact that I am right so often is not an indication of my basketball knowledge, but because NBA is very predictable. I cannot predict how the NCAA tournament is going to unfold...

I totally agree that NBA games are quite predictable. The more precise option for me is "Nah, I don't have the time..." Not enough time to watch that many games.

Very few sporting events can match the extended drama provided by March Madness... from the selection process where some teams will feel left out, and some teams would cry about their seedings, to the actual games where Cinderella stories are created, and favourites are bowing out early... LOVE the drama, and watching college students play their hearts out, not crying about contracts and money, is always an added bonus you get...
