Maybe Clinton will try again 4 years later, but so far she might be the best chance for a woman to enter the oval office. Let's predict if the US will elect a female president before 2021.

Since 2012 is so far from now, I keep the closing date in a month.

    Possible, but not very likely. The Clinton's speech about the glass ceiling isn't completely inaccurate. I think it exists. If Clinton cannot do it, I don't see how some else can do it in the next 10 years.

    It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when. Clinton is, in the short-term, the best chance the Democrats have for a female presidential candidate. On the Republican side, i think Secretary of State Rice will one day be a candidate too.

    But the whole thing is dependent on what types of candidates can the two parties provide. Maybe I'm naive in saying this, but I think citizens have moved beyond voting for or against a person because of his/her gender.
