    Microsoft doesn't have to make Office free. All it has to do it lower the price for consumers. If Dell charges me $50 for a basic MS Office suite, I will pay for it.

    Office is still too big a cash cow for Microsoft to kill at this point. I am sure the Office Live Workspace thing will convince a lot of Enterprise users from switching to Google.
