Will Israel's Prime Minister Ehud Olmert resign by July 2008?
rachel ( Score Rank: User did not make predictions in the last 30 days ) rachel  |  was scored on 08-Jul-2008 (500 days ago)
A majority of Israelis want Prime Minister Ehud Olmert to resign in the wake of an inquiry that found "serious failures and flaws" in the management of Israel's 2006 war in Lebanon, according to polls published Thursday, but Olmert insists he will stay in office. The polls in Jan signaled that even if he holds onto office, he could have difficulty rallying public support for his attempts to sign a final peace agreement with the Palestinians by the end of the year. Will he resign by July?

He is still in power but under lots of pressure. Israeli police said on Tuesday they will question him again this week over a corruption scandal that has rocked his government and which could lead to early elections.

I don't think he could manage the relationship with Palestinians and surrounding countries, and now the home hates him too.
