Will Google support MyLocation feature on iPhone in 2007?

Google's new MyLocation feature is available in many major cell phones including Java, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile and Nokia/Symbian devices. And for some reason, iPhone is not in the list.

    Google did launch the Google iPhone Application which includes My Location Beta. I consider this a yes.

    In Q2 2007, the iPhone global market share is 1.3% according to Canalys report:

    Maybe that's why Google hasn't finished the feature on iPhone yet. Even if Google is doing it for iPhone, it is not for the market share. It is more for marketing purpose since iPhone receive so much media attention.

    I think Google will support MyLocation on iPhone. It is just a matter of time. Maybe Google is trying to please other cell phone manufacturers by giving them a head start to compete with iPhone? Trying to make new friends?
