Yes, gold will be over 1100.00 by the end this year

Due to the current trend in the price of gold, I feel that the gold price will continue its climb toward the 900 mark by the 10th of June or sooner, As gold has increased from 852 On May first to 882 on May 12th. that is an increase of 30 in 12 days. This could easily make 900-920 before june 1, but due for a minor correction around the 3rd week of May. Then it's an easy move to make up the next hundred points over the next 6 months. I would suspect gold to be pushing the 1050 to 1100 Mark by Dec 31, 2008

I think in the long term, gold price will continue to go up. However, at this point, it is in a period of adjustment. I have heard some economists predicting that it will drop as long as around 850USD to consolidate before it starts moving up again. In light of that, I think gold price will more likely finish below $1000 this year before rebounding high in 09.
