This topic is inspired by today's announcement by Adobe that the new Flash 10 player will now use our graphics card to power 3D applications (mostly games):

For those of us who grew up playing flash games in the last 10 years, have we ever wondered why flash 3D games really suck? That's because 3D programs written on flash player was never powered by graphics card hardware. It means it is super slow and low tech.

Now, things will change. 3D game developers can finally consider flash player as a web-based gaming platform to power games like web version of World of Warcraft or something like that.

Let's predict if one of the major game publisher Electronic Arts (EA) will announce any 3D game on Flash 10 player by mid 2009.
