Canadian $$ keep rising like crazy this year. It's now getting close to 0.96 USD. Many bankers predicted Canadian $$ can hit 1 USD this year. Do you think so?

Canada just got its inflation under control. I don't think it will lower interest rate any time soon. You guys have any thought into this?

US just lowered the Fed rate to 4.75%. I expect this will reduce the demand for USD, and as the result, Canadian dollars will more likely to go up. Good for the Canadians shoppers. BAD for the Canadian forest industry.

Dollar parity is a pipe dream dudes. When commodity prices fall (and it will eventually), so do the Canadian Dollar.

If CAD and USD will go 1:1, there will be lots of happy Canadian Ebay shoppers and happy US sellers. btw, the CAD is getting stronger again today. So, there is still hope before Christmas, for Canadians shoppers.
