    pot should be legal some states have already legalized it an it also would prob lower alot of are drug related crimes an come on its not even a drug its a damn herb its been used by many cultures (even ours) for hundrends of years

    Hmmm. I have to go with no in this case.
    After all, this is the country that impeached a man for having an extra-marital affair, but voted in another that promptly declared war on the world. Because HAPPINESS is SADNESS, WAR is PEACE, and we have always been at war with Eurasia.
    There is a chance that G.W. Bush might legalize coke though. :)

    Yeah, legalizing pot sounds pretty unlikely. Unless the US can follow other countries which do that, and see some benefit in it? Do you guys know if any European cities already legalized pot?

    Legalizing and de-criminalizing are two very similar, but legally different, terms.

    I think de-criminalizing will be the first unfortunate step the the government will be taking... and then, eventually, they will legalize it.
