    the answer is "no", but doesn't means they will not find traces (vestiges) of intelligent life. if they discover something, they will never tell us, so.."nothing will be discovered" officially.
    many years ago, the sonde "vicking I" shot pictures of pyramids on mars, and a face, in cydonia zone. the "spirit" sonde also shot an unusual object in the mars sky, BBC news reported it

    If there is any evidence of civilization, it won't be on the mars surface. And current NASA mars droid isn't equipped to dig deep into the rock. Unless there are little greenmen alive, pop up from underground, and say hi to us.

      Maybe a completely destroyed ancient civilization is found. So no more living alien, just an archaeological site with alien bones, and stuff. In that case, the government has little reason to hide that.

      I think the government will try to hide it too if the aliens have some super powerful technology. But if they is just a low tech civilization then I am sure it will be on the Discovery channel right away.
