In the sports of "rock and roll" known as curling, Canada has been a traditional power house. However, at this year's Ford World Championship held at Vernon, B.C., China has upset team Canada in round robin play to take first place in the standing (as of Mar 25).

Which team do you think will win the championship? (numbers in bracket indicates the team's current win-loss record as of Mar 25)

Hahaha, I was right after all... I said in a comment earlier that Canada would not lose to China a second time... turns out, they wouldn't lose to China a third consecutive time, beating China 7-4 in the championship game to capture only the 3rd gold medal on home ice. China finished second while the Swiss team beat Japan to earn the bronze medal.

If Canada gets to face China again in the finals (or any time in the playoffs), I don't see them losing to China a second time. After all, Jennifer Jones is a world champion, and Canada is traditionally the strongest in world curling. I think China would win if Canada is knocked out by another nation (say, Switzerland or Denmark).

Seems China is unbeatable. It didn't lose any game this year.
