Panthers = major disappointment, which isn't particularly surprising. The Cardinals...?

Titans are done, predictably... I still think the winner is going to come out of the top two defenses in the East, Steelers and Ravens. But now the Giants have a much simpler road...

Why are the choices restricted to the Titans and the Steelers? Neither team are my pick to win it all.

The Titans have not been right the last few weeks of the season. Yes, they have everything won already then, and needed not play hard, but you can't just "turn on a switch" when needed. I won't be surprised if they are bounced this week.

The Steelers' O-line is porous. Big Ben can get hurt, and if he's hurt, then Pittsburgh would have zero chance.

I actually think the Ravens with its D may have the best chance. The Giants, if they can compartmentize the effect of Plexico Burress, are still a very strong team.

The Panthers are a pretty all-round team. But they don't present me as a team that has this one special weapon that other teams cannot stop.

My picks would be the Ravens or the Giants.

I worry about the Titans. I think we're all nervously anticipating the game where Kerry Collins breaks down. Would they be willing to put in Vince Young?

The Cardinals are no-shots, the Eagles aren't good enough, neither is San Diego.

The Giants... well, they look pretty good, but repeats are rare. Still, never count them out.

We have the Ravens and the Steelers, the top two defenses. A rookie qb and a qb who can show up in any given clutch. If Big Ben gets the offense going, the Steelers are a red-level threat.

Finally, that leaves the Panthers. Who expects them to win? But, there's always room for a surprise..

I'm tempted to not pick the Panthers because they're... idk. I'm feeling a Panthers vs. Steelers/Ravens Superbowl... so I'm gonna take the field.
