    Kane has a slightly better season than both Toews and Backstrom, but here are the reasons why I think Backstrom will win: #1 he helped his team make the playoffs that both Kane and Toews were not able to do with the Blackhawks; and #2 Kane and Toews will split the vote because they are from the same team.

    In a tight race, I think Backstrom will win.
