    predicted: [ Most Likely ] [ 45% ] San Jose Sharks

Every year someone says it's San Jose's year, and, this early in the season, I'd say it finally IS. San Jose and Detroit are a notch above every other team, but in the playoffs, goaltending is always huge, and Nabakov is a much better goalie than Osgood and Hasek (at this stage of his career).

Don't forget Luongo and the Canucks... Luongo can single-handedly carry a team (3 shutouts in 4 games), and the Canucks still have a LOT of salary cap space at this point (assuming that Sundin doesn't want to sign with them)... the potential is appealing.
