    Haven't you guys notice that it is usually the bad movies that tops the box office every year? Look at this year, Spiderman 3 was not that great. Pirates of the Caribbean 3 was a joke. And yet, they are both among the best selling movies this summer.

      I feel like the best 3 will be Harry Potter, Transformer and The Simpsons Movie. Among them, The Simpsons Movie will probably be the most profitable. I am interested to know the production cost of each of the summer movie.

    According to the news, 2007 has the best total gross sales for Hollywood summer movies. So, I guess watching movie in the theatres still hasn't been replaced by watching video clip in youtube as weekend entertainment. :P

    I doubt Simpsons box office gross sales will even get close to Transformer. Just look at the first week box office. It didn't do as well as Transformers' first week.

    Eventhough I think this Spider-man movie is the worst sequel out of the 3. I still think Spider-man 3 is going to be the top summer movie this year. So, what do you think?

      There is no denying that the Simpsons movie is getting a lot of attention recently with the 7-11 Kwiki Mart marketing. I just read from the news that Transformers is actually trailing Simpons in the UK box office in their first week release. It makes me wonder why the UK ppl likes American humor more than American cars.
