What type of roof would B.C. Place Stadium have for the 2010 Olympics?

Ever since the inflatable roof at B.C. Place Stadium collapsed during the snowstorm in January of 2007, the provincial government has been exploring the possibility of replacing the roof for the 2010 Olympics. It seems like, if the roof is to be replaced, there will be three different options. Which one of these do you think would be the new (or old) look of this Vancouver landmark?

A retractable roof will be built, but the building won't start until AFTER the Winter Olympics in 2010. The roof right now will just be "fixed" and "updated" to last until then.

The sad thing is, the waterside soccer stadium looks like will be a no-go now, even though the soccer team's CEO wants to fund the building himself. The Whitecaps will move to play inside the Dome instead...

No need a partially covered roof / open roof as Vancouver rains heavily in winter time. Staying the way now is the cheapest way to build and do maintenance.

How much to spend on the roof top really depends on how much potential businesses the 2010 Winter Olympics can bring to the Vancouver city. The BC Place is one of the landmarks (out of only a few) of Vancouver city. I suppose it is the best to keep it the same, especially if cost is an issue.

I still remember seeing the roof collapsing. Vancouver will probably go for whichever option is the cheapest.

A retractable roof would cost 50% more than a fixed roof, but from a strict viewer's point of view, there is nothing that beats watching a game in the outdoors where the elements (wind, even a slight rain or snow) can enter into the play of field... I want a retractable roof, but because the price tag is high, I would not be surprised to see another fixed, closed roof.
