I am not that optimistic about Visa's price... there has been a lot of Americans who are using their credit cards to cover the debt they owe (or other credit card debts). That is a bubble that is going to burst. I know all credit card companies are making huge bucks on their loan-shark-like interest rate, but even they cannot collect any money from someone who has declared bankruptcy, right?

Well said. Creditors are the ones that suffer before and during a recession.

"How does VISA make money? Through the fees they charge to it's card issuers and merchants. Do they face the risk of the expense of credit card fraud? Nope, their card issuers take care of that. "

i agree with ace111. the market is seeking way out for long term investment. so, in a short run, Visa will remain high.

BULLY because money has no way to go in the current time. commodities, such as oil and gold, are out of fundamental support for long-term. visa is a good choice for long term.
