US Unemployment goes up or down in Sep 2008?
Homer ( Score Rank: User did not make predictions in the last 30 days ) Homer  |  was scored on 08-Oct-2008 (409 days ago)
The U.S. lost more jobs than forecast in August and the unemployment rate climbed to a five- year high, heightening the risk that the economic slowdown will worsen. The report showed the effects of the housing slump and the credit crisis that it triggered. Payrolls at builders fell 8,000 after decreasing 20,000. Financial firms trimmed payrolls by 3,000 for a second consecutive month.

Let's predict if the US unemployment rate will go up or down in Sep 2008. We will verify the result here: http://data.bls.gov/PDQ/s...

Actually, high unemployment rate right now might do Obama good. He is here to make positive changes after all.
