    The Jays finished fourth in the tough, tough AL East even though they were 10 games over .500.

    No I think the Jays are a good team, especially with Halladay and Burnett healthy, and if Gaston had been with them since April they would be battling the Rays for first.

    I don't see any reason that the Jays will make the playoffs. They are basically battling to stay out of the bottom at AL East. This year, they are looking up not just at the high-paying Yankees and Red Sox, but the upstart Tampa Bay Rays as well. There are just too many teams, and not enough time, for them to catch up (not that I think time would make a difference - the teams above them are just BETTER).
