It could involve any of the following: the sitting President, Vice-President, or a major Democratic or Republican Candidate for the President or Vice-President, a sitting U.S. Senator, Congressman or State Governor, a Candidate for U.S. Senate or Congress or Governor or an elected Senator or Congressman or Governor (between Election Day and the end of the year). This would be a major scandal that results in resignation, impeachment, or one that involves repeated calls for resignation, such as in Craig's case, whether or not it actually occurs.
