Terrorist Attack on US Soil on Sep 11, 2008?

With the U.S. economy at one of its lowest states (but starting to slowly recover), and the whole world focused on china for the olympics, it would actually be a good time to suprise everyone but NOT on that exact date,

Some people say that it can never happen again because of today's security, well, as security becomes more advanced, terrorist plots can become more advanced, too. This isn't going to end, the terrorists will always keep up with new technologies. Although chances are extremely low, the only time we will be in trouble is when the terrorists gain an advantage on us, rather than security being an advantage just as it is now.

If they had wanted to establish 9/11 as a "horror date" they would've had to strike one or two years after, not seven. Besides, it's much easier to kill americans in Iraq.
