Okay, more rumors. Some China plastic case manufacturers are leaking rumors that the new PSP-3000 is currently in production although Sony doesn't officially admit to that. For some background info, PSP-2000 is known as the PSP slim.

    If it is really in production, it should get announced in a month or so. But if the rumor is bogus, then there might be no PSP-3000 at all. I am not so confident it is coming so soon. I think it is more likely to be announced 3 months before Christmas, to get everyone excited about what to get for the holiday season.
