    While a company is going well, and has a large, stable cash flow that can fuel growth, why would they ever go public? Basically going public means you're selling future profits so you can invest in some infrastructure. I doubt Second Life has concerns about that.

    I am pretty sure virtual reality is going to be big in Entertainment. Not sure about serious use like online shopping (product visualization) and online education though. I still find good photography is a more direct way to visualize product. I can see Second Life goes really big when they can put more entertainment content/partners onto the platform.
