The Coca-Cola Company has confirmed in Aug 2007 that it has discontinued the sale of Coca-Cola Blak in the US. Coca-Cola bottlers will continue to bottle and distribute the remaining stock until the concentrate supply is exhausted. Sale of Coke Blak will continue however in France and Canada. I think Blak tastes great. Do you think Coca-cola will bring this product back to US?

    I agree with Mastermind. I don't see why they would drop this in the States. Sales couldn't have been that abysmal, then again I do know that in this region, the Midwest states, that there was very little if any advertising of the product.

    Regardless of how much I want the coke company to bring it back, I think they will focus on Zero now, which tastes pretty damn good too.

    My hope would be that yes they would ring it back - If not, caf-fans (caf-fiends?) like myself will cry, or at least resort to drinking Starbucks Double-Shot, which just IS NOT the same

      Yeah, I agree. Starbucks double-shot and blak is totally different. In fact, when I drink blak, I don't even treat it as coffee. It is more like a better tasting pop. I have no idea why they decide not to sell it in the states.

      I should send another email to coke to ask them to bring it back.

    Last time I tried Blak in a Vancouver 7-11. It tastes very good. However, I still prefer a stronger coffee taste. There is a market for this drink in US. Whether Coca-cola will revive this is another question.

    Although I don't see why coke would drop this product in US, I don't think such a big corp will flip-flop that quickly.
