Olympia Snowe---100% voting record--moderate to capture swing state voters---the republican party needs to capture those states. O K if you are a conservative voter you better be voting for McCain or you will get the most liberal senator..that being OBAMA .so, only a faux republican would vote for Obama. The democrats registered record numbers of new voters...The republicans can win with a moderate like Olympia Snowe. They can even capture disgruntled women who feel disinfranchised by the democratic party....she can bring McCain a win...seriously is someone who wants "Huck" for Vp going to vote for Obama....no! However, someone who wanted Hillary might vote for McCain if he rain with Olympia Snowe
Agree. He shares many similarity as Obama - served in Congress as black Republican, wrote a book "What Color Is a Conservative: My Life and My Politics". He is also quite charm as being a former professional Canadian football player.
Condolleeza Rice:
She is certainly qualified to be Vice-President and she would undercut Obama or Hillary's "change" appeal. On the other hand, she's very closely connected to Bush, has never run for public office before, very little is known about her domestic views, and she has turned in a less than stellar performance as Secretary of State.
Sarah Palin: she would bring a down to earth, real person style to the ticket. Her youth, 44 years old, would appeal to the young soccer mom crowd.
Elizabeth Dole: she has actually accomplished more in her life than Hillary Clinton and would definitely have the gravitas to beat her up and take the women's vote from Hill if she gets the nomination.
