Is the recession in the US market going to end by the begining of 2010?

Whether we are in recession is still debatable. This article from MSNBC kind of describe this:

So for some, the question still remains, "Are we even in recession?"

I am not as optimistic now. I can see the US economy recovering by mid 2010, but not before that. The oil price really add pain to the wound.

As speculation has seemed to rule the dollar, lately, I am going to speculate an earlier end in order to influence it actually ending early.

We have not yet reached the point at which classical economics defines recession in the first place. Ergo, it is only the press which touts recession in their anti-Bush-administration efforts in order to sell papers and airtime.

I think there's just too much corruption for the US economy to recover quickly.

The economy will remain in limbo for about 12 more months, with the fed, the stock brokers and the banks manipulating the currency & the markets for their respective advantages. After the election, and whoever wins, the next 3 months (give or take) of 2009 will usher in a deeping recession, with inflation rising, Oil at over 150 dollars a barrel, The dollar furthur declining to low or below 60 (currently about 73) They don't want to call it A depression, but that is what it will be. More bank failures, more forclosures. Illegals creating more problems. Doesn't sound rosy, but neither does a debt that we cannot pay, And with the Pres (present and future) and all of the idiots in Congress who are only worried about filling their own coffers, and couldn't give a damn about the rest of us. Why isn't something being done about the absurd profits of the oil companies??? The Health Care Rip-offs, Look up on the internet who is giving money and to whom. Big OIl, big polluters, foreign interests.

We have already entered the recession in early Apr. The media reported that the longest US recession took 11 months. Even though this time was a great recession, it should recover by the end of 2009, or much earlier.

Who says we are in a recession?!

Just kidding. The suffering should continue til 2011.
