iPhone supports Adobe Flash in 2008.

In comments made at Apple's recent shareholder meeting, CEO Steve Jobs said that the iPhone doesn't support Flash because it runs too slowly on the device to be useful. The iPhone's lack of Flash has been one of the major complaints levied against it. He also said we won't see iPhone apps until "summer."

With zillions of Flash apps out there on the Internet, is it that easy for Jobs to ignore it, and keep saying no to Flash? Let's predict if Jobs will change his mind and decide to have iPhone supporting Adobe Flash.

Since Apple just released the iPhone SDK, I am more convinced now Adobe will develop a flash player for it. However, Adobe won't release the player until it can make a good licensing deal with Apple.

Interesting development. Jobs said Flash "performs too slow to be useful" on the iPhone, while Adobe responds by saying "... the Web experience isn't complete on the iPhone until ... Flash support is added."

Look at recent relationship between the two companies, Flash apps have little chance of moving onto iPhone in 2008.
