Honestly, I agree with elsos even though it's a horrible outcome to a great leader it is very likely even though I think that perhaps it's just my twisted thought process leading me down that road, but then we do in fact have our very narrow minded racist bigots in America still today. We may not all want to believe that our not even close to perfect little country is and more than likely not any better than other sections of the world.

If and when something tragic happens to Presidential Elect Obama, it will more than likely be obvious and out in the open because all the idiotic extremists like attention and unfortunately they've been getting a lot of attention lately because of the recent threats to his life by some "skinhead" young men. If this is still deeply imbedded into our youth today then how is it so hard for people to imagine that there are still more morally corrupt citizens out there.

We may have brought upon change to the US by electing Barack Obama with the popular vote, but I really don't think that many are and will ever be ready for it.

Dosn't really matter much who wins. The likleyhood of an assasination is pretty close to 0%.

I am not necessarily an Obama supporter, but I will unite behind and respect whoever is elected. I certainly do not hope in the least that he loses his life.

I don't see this country as in the sewer by any means. Alot of hype with media that has to draft and produce stories 24/7, and still make a profit. The attitude "If it bleeds, it leads" has been the commanding ideas of different media for over a century.

Quite a long time ago I told my wife Obama will be elected and some radical will shoot him, and blame it on the white man that just can't accept change. I sure hope I've just seen too many movies. I don't understand why anyone would want to harm anyone for philosophical differences, unless they just want to start up something. If that is the case, God help us all.

If he did, it would be visible evidence of how far down the sewer this country is... not that it was ever that great to begin with. I don't think it will happen, but yeah, despite all the black marks on our history, we are idiots and we are still extremely closed-minded, in fact the only ones worse are probably the Middle East. It's hard to be proud when you grow up and see that all the things they tried to indoctrinate you with are pure lies.

Unfortunately, America isn't as open minded as we all hope she is. No matter what, I certainly hope assassination is a thing of the past.
