I hope this topic does not disturb or offend anybody...

Recent studies have established a tie between IQ and breastfeeding. According to the research, babies who were breastfed have a higher IQ than babies that are nursed through a bottle. Scientists are not sure if the finding is related to the milk of the mother and/or from the physical contact the babies have with their mothers.

With this in mind, if you and/or your partner is deciding on how your babies would be fed, which way would you go?

now there is a research that suggests that breastfeeding would lessen the chance of the baby developing weight problems later in life as well. Wow.

And this is a prediction HOW?
The idea is to predict a VERIFIABLE outcome, NOT start an opinion poll

I am not even married yet. But let's say if I am... I will let her decide. But I prefer breadfeeding. I heard it's better.

I am not a woman and I am not a parent, so I really am speaking about something I totally do not know... from a scientific standpoint though, breastfeeding offers a LOT of benefits - because of the production of oxytocin, a hormone that is produced when the baby is sucking on the mother's nipples, a mother would actually return to her pre-pregnancy body shape sooner as well... Not to mention the many psychological studies that suggest that babies who are breastfed are better socially and emotionally too. If I have a say, I would recommend that a mother breastfeed the baby as much as it is possible for her.

o haha i read the same news today too. surely the "chemical" milk contains richer nutrient elements, but the direct touch may help brain development =p. if i have a new-born, i choose breastfeeding only.
