How long will OJ Simpson's final sentence be (after appeal)?
black-shoulder ( Score Rank: User did not make predictions in the last 30 days ) black-shoulder  |  closed on 30-Jun-2009 (258 days ago)
So OJ Simpson is finally convicted, and is finally sentenced to go to jail. The former Heisman Trophy winner and NFL star was convicted of arm-robbery and kidnapping, and was sentenced to 9 to 33 years in jail. Judge Jackie Glass did not accept Simpson's claim that he was just acting "foolishly in re-claiming what he believed were his belongings," saying that, "when you go into a room in that fashion (with guns) in this state, it is called arm robbery."

Lawyers of Simpson, of course, are already working frantically to appeal the case. One of the first things that they claim is that the jury did not include an African American, thus making the trial unfair.

After the appeal process, what would be the final sentence of OJ Simpson?

Ideally, he'd get this throat cut in jail on the day before his release.

I don't dare to under-estimate the powers of OJ Simpson's lawyers... the problem is, does OJ Simpson still have the money he had 13 years ago to fight this conviction and sentence? Also, this being Nevada and not California, the "preferential treatment" given to celebrities are a lot less...

OJ got 0 days for allegedly killing two people, but may face up to 33 years in jail for robbery... I guess, what goes around, comes around.
