Gallup Poll Daily: Obama vs McCain on Oct 8, 2008
voteSense ( Score Rank: User did not make predictions in the last 30 days ) voteSense  |  was scored on 09-Oct-2008 (407 days ago)
The Sept. 28-30 Gallup Poll Daily tracking update of registered voters finds Barack Obama at 48%, and John McCain at 44%, marking a slight narrowing of the race from the 8-point margin Obama held earlier this week. With the bailout proposal dominating the campaign trail, Sens. John McCain and Barack Obama must balance sending out a message of a bipartisan solution while trying to gain a political advantage.

The Wednesday result is produced by encompassing Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday's interviewing.

What is the poll result posted on Oct 8?

McCain's reluctance to bail out the troubled financial institutions is taking a toll on his popularity... Obama will probably try to ride that hard to deflate the momentum that McCain managed to gain since the Palin announcement.

I predict that Palin would not perform well in debate about foreign issues, and voters would continue to be angry on Republican about the bailout.
