The Sept. 21-23 Gallup Poll Daily tracking update shows Barack Obama is maintaining a 3-point, 47% to 44%, edge over John McCain among registered voters. Obama led John McCain but down from a six-point lead just days ago. One possible explanation: A great number of Americans simply aren't impressed by Obama and are withholding support for him but not getting fully aboard the McCain straight-talk express.
