Although Time Inc. says they would cut 100 jobs in Feb 2008, but there was no mentioning of closing down any more magazines.

Time Warner bought the magazine in 2001 for a reported $68 million and combined its operations with its own fledgling business magazine, eCompany Now. The new Business 2.0 came close to breaking even in 2005, but spiraled back into the red this year after the number of advertising pages plunged nearly 40 percent through July, according to the Magazine Publishers of America.

No wonder there are so many online ad network company get bought out by Google, Yahoo and Microsoft in the last year or so. I think the real money finally goes to the Internet after all these years.

I am a current subscriber of the Business 2.0 magazine. I think it is the best high-tech business magazine out there. It is so sad to see a perfectly good magazine getting shut down. :(
