Firefox breaks the World Download Record
Tempus ( Score Rank: #33 based on predictions in the last 30 days ) Tempus  |  was scored on 02-Jul-2008 (97 days ago)
The Mozilla Foundation is trying to break the World record for software downloads in 24 hours. To this purpose, they will declare the release day of Firefox 3 "Download Day".

Here is the official world record page.

This prediction says that Firefox 3 will break that record and enter the Guiness Book of Records. The official judgement from Guiness will be the verdict of this prediction.

(note: The exact date for Download Day is unknown still, so judgement could be a while after the prediction closes.)

Yes, agree. Seems like the answer is yes. This news says the audit might take a week. We will see.

Mozilla says they broke it, but they are still waiting for official confirmation from the Guiness people, which might take a few days.

It is not surprising to see FF breaking new record. I am hoping FF will become the no.1 browser in 5 years.

It is possible. Especially if FF2 turns on the auto-update (if there is such a thing)
