Canon announced the 12.1 Megapixel PowerShot G9 on 20 August, 2007. When will G10 or next version be announced? Let's also share what you want on the next version!!

- faster lens just like in the G2/G3 generation.
- 28mm wide angle
- better front grip
- better quality sensor not more pixels
But I don't think G10 will support AA batter, that is what the A-series is for. Also, I don't see Canon improving the viewfinder. If they make it too good, then it will take away the attractiveness of the D-SLR models.
and i want as soon ... if not here in may, i'll purchase the G9
btw, we don't need more megapixel. Just give us better lens and cleaner CCD.
- the vari-angle display
- a faster lens like in G3
- min. 28mm wide angle
- better front grip/handle
- better sensor - no more useless pixels
