    For those of us who has to commute to work thru the highway, biking isn't a feasible choice. I am one of those people.

    If it were feasible, I live 20 mile+ from work, I would.
    For me there are also no "safe" routes to work. The most practical route is a heavily traveled state highway that I at time fear getting on in a car.

    If you live in BC, Canada, you can check out the new scrap-it program. The government will give you a 1 year bus pass plus $1,200 credit towards your new bike if you give up your old car:

    Maybe that's enough incentive for you to bike to work/school.

    Never. If gas price coming to go up, I will car pool first. If it's not possible, then I will take a bus. I only bike for fun, not to commute.
