If you have been noticing all the products Google announced in the last 7 years, real and fake ones, you can argue it is Google's tradition to delivery April Fool's Day hoax every year. Google is one of the few companies out there who has a good sense of humor. If you want to find out what fake products have been announced in the past, here you are:

So, what kind of "product" you think Google will announce on April 1st, 2008?

I suspect it will have something to do with the automobile industry. Hm... How about a car that can listen to your command and do search query online, while you are driving at the same time? That should be silly enough for April Fool's Day.

I was kinda tricked last year when I saw "Google Paper" and thought for so long why Google would do something that seems so wasteful and so silly... Anyway, I think they would continue to go a similar route in offering something that sounds silly, but still somewhat true. The first four are either services that are already available to Google itself or its competition, so they aren't interesting enough. Since they were "wasteful" in offering paper last year, maybe they will go green this year, or offer something completely weird... either way, I'm looking forward to see it.

Google goes green is not a joke is it? I thought it is the company's PR strategy to make it real, not making fun of it. But still, I think Green tech is a hot topic, so why not?

Wifi has been done last year, so no. Information or search service is no surprise and no fun, so no. I predict Google will try to surprise us with something that is no even on this list.
