The federal government is injecting $20 billion into Citi (NYSE:C) and providing protection against losses on approximately $306 billion of loans and securities after an agreement was reached this weekend by regulators and officials from Citi. I don't think Apple aims to hit the market with price attraction but with its brand name and sexy features. It is more reasonable to sell iPhone 3.0 at the same price. No vendor can monopolize the global market anyway, and it is a long-time battle for all the mobile vendors.
