Mozilla today announced it set a new Guinness World Record for the largest number of software downloads in 24 hours. The record-setting 8,002,530 downloads coincided with the launch of Firefox® 3, Mozilla's major update to its popular and acclaimed free, open source Web browser.
My logic is: (1)MS won't get Yahoo, so MS won't get Alibaba. (2)If MS gets Yahoo, Alibaba will ask Yahoo to sell its stack to a 3rd party, then MS would acquire a less 'valuable' Yahoo and thus re-consider the bid. Yahoo would feel under-value again.
The geek community is more adhesive to Google than MS; whereas Yahoo is struggling its marriage with MS or AOL. I believe Google will have a higher chance to buy it out. Perhaps a slim chance for Facebook too .. who knows.
